Solving storage problems since 1980
We have been solving storage problems since 1980. Based on our experience of helping people, over this period, we're pleased to offer some guidance on how to store and move your possessions.
You can move the goods yourself, or we can arrange to have your goods moved.
We will cover the points on the basis that you are renting a van and moving the goods yourself. If you are using us to remove, please bear with us!

Packing materials. 1 Big Self Store sells a range of packing materials: boxes 4 sizes: archive (for papers) medium box (books, crockery) large box (clothing, bedding, etc) wardrobe box with hanging rail (for clothes, drapes, etc); bubble wrap for protecting delicate items, tape, and dustsheets. All products are top quality and fairly priced. Get plenty of boxes from 1 Big Self Store.
Supermarket boxes may seem useful but are often a false economy because they are not very strong and are of widely differing sizes, making stacking difficult.
